A Week in Pictures

So I got a workout class membership thingy this week!
It's on campus at the RB, and they have 18 classes each week that you can go to, as many as you want, at their scheduled times! They are really really intense. And I love it. Even though they are kicking my butt, it's a good kind of kicking.
Pretty intense right? Some of the bigger classes are in here, and other classes are in smaller rooms.
It doesn't help when I go into work every morning and there are racks and racks of cookies, doughnuts, cheesecakes, muffins, and more. All FREE. It's really really tempting when you're a starving student...but I try to keep it to a one-bite minimum (:
I love mission call openings! So fun. My friend Ryan got called to Puebla Mexico. His mission presidents are his friend's parents!! Crazy huh?
Walking around so much isn't half bad if you're looking at a beauty like this.
Another girl's night, but let's face it. Every night is a girl's night. No complaints here (:
We tried our hardest to study...it lasted for a little while.
Then we had pizza and did nails and other fun stuff.
Brie is so talented! See that cheetah print thumb? Ya. Point and case.

 I really love these girls.
My favorite picture!!!
Saturday morning started bright and early with a temple trip! Took a good 3 hours to get through baptisms. There are a lot of temple-goers in Provo...
Let me just go on a little tangent.
I LOVE our family home evening boys!!! Honestly, they are the greatest. They are such gentlemen and so sweet to us. They put together this whole temple trip, then invited us over for breakfast. Genevieve has a billion allergies, and they cooked everything special so that she could have it! And we're talking gourmet food.
Little breakfast tarts, the most amazing pancakes with a homemade strawberry puree on top, and lotsa bacon. HOLY YUM. Where did these boys come from?! They are too good to us. I'm a proud mama. (:
Not only did they cook this all, but they refused to let us help in any way. They just waited on us hand and foot. I could get used to that.

Saturday also marked my one-month anniversary of being at college! Still have yet to visit home, which is a big surprise. I manage okay by just calling my mom every single day, and depending on the day, it can be up to five times. I think we talk more now then when I lived at home, she's become even more of my best friend! Love her.

Today we went to our friend's apartment to make dinner all together. It was delicious. BUT the big surprise was walking into their kitchen and finding this:
(Well, minus the people)
So they have three levels of couches, all stacked at different heights on top of various size tables. Its movie theater seating, right in their kitchen!! They stole the extra couches from the lobby... who woulda thought guys could be so creative. They also have a projector, and they hung up a white sheet on the wall. Coolest dorm ever award goes to them!! So after dinner we watched Second Hand Lions, in their homemade dorm theater. What a treat.

In other news, dying my hair hasn't helped my blond moments.
This past week I went in to the wrong class twice, missed half of a class cause I forgot about it (while I was sitting in the very building), walked into a tree while texting, and many more things. It's kinda sad, but you just gotta laugh at yourself. It's that or cry...so I opt for laughing. (:

Also today I've been writing my 7 page paper that's due on Tuesday...I'm the worst procrastinator.
In the next two weeks I have 4 papers due and 3 tests...AHH! I'm in no way prepared, I'll probably be an antisocial loner holed up in my room doing homework for a while.
College is kinda hard...

Buuut overall, I like it.
(:

  1. I have to admit I've used the visual of you walking into a tree many times this week to cheer me up. See what a service you do through your blond moments? (As if I don't have enough of my own to reflect on!) LOVE YOU!!!!!
